Donations to Wikileaks open again

After Icelandic Supreme Court ruled the blocking of Wikileaks donations by the credit card processor Valitor illegal, donations towards WikiLeaks are now accepted again.

Earlier this week DataCell ltd in Iceland has filed a complaint against the international card companies, Visa Europe and MasterCard Europe, for infringement of the antitrust rules of the EU.
Visa closes down our payment gateway, again

After having opened up a gateway for DataCell for processing payments to WikiLeaks, the payments processing company Valitor (VISA Iceland) has decided to close down the gateway and terminate the contract with DataCell.
Credit card donation to WikiLeaks is now accepted again

Today we have observed that an alternative payment processor that we have contracted with, has in fact opened the gateway for payments with Visa and MasterCard, and now also for American Express Card payments. Credit card donation to WikiLeaks is now accepted again.
